China had no problem with Taiwan, the issue is similar to that of Ukraine, whereby the US want to military base around China, to surround China, Taiwan's alley is just wrong.

Taiwan and South Korea are similar both has always been backed by the United States. Comparing Ukraine to this makes you ignorant. We have no obligation to support Ukraine after they tried entering EU and NATO.

China has only 2 specific months to fully take advantage of the Taiwan straight, and that's April and October when the water is a bit more friendly. This enables them to move huge military assets across the straight. However, China can do other things while waiting for the said window to come, one of which is a blockade, or other types of attacks like drone, long range missiles, etc.
