It seems most catchers today are typically using All-Star was their go to brand for gear. Would it be possible to review some of the other brands such as Easton, Rawlings, Mizuno, or EvoShield as a comparison as to what to look for or what to avoid? This is specifically important for those younger catchers who can't always dish out $400-$500 when they are just starting out with catching.
If you’re younger, I recommend using the two piece for practice so that you keep your head down on blocks. It teaches you good form, at least it taught me good form, because if you look away during a block, the ball will catch your neck or ear. Also, it’s mostly hype that you could get injured from a two piece, at least in my experience. I’ve used a two piece for hundreds of games, and have only once been hit on the side of the head, and that was because the guy I was catching throws upper 80’s and hit the batter, and the ball ricocheted off his belt into my ear. I was fine, a little dazed, but all I got from it was a little mark. The Two piece is a great thing to wear and have.
With the growing popularity of Nike gear. Would like to see a Nike Vs All Star gear comparison.
Dude, this helps so much because I’m looking into getting just the shin guards, so knowing how it works really helps
4:48 the Rawlings Mach pro leg guards do that as well
This is some NICE catchers gear 🥶🥶 I use all star too and they’re really high quality but the quality on those look higher than the Eiffel tower
Coach a question. Are there differences for baseball or softball catcher’s gear in case of an adult man player in both cases?
Will you be doing a review on the Champro gear you teased on your Youtube Short?
I’m loving this
This relly helps me becuse if i use the gear that was used befor and play catcher a lot they will buy me some new gear and my get this on
thoughts on the diffrent thickness of shoulder pads
Can you do a video of how to clean the gear this time? 😂

I think both velcro and plastic attachment, in the shin guards, will be a problem in the long run
Do they have a youth version
Do you recommend padded thigh tights? What about cups?
