There are so many recipes out there for CC cookies but by far this one is very simple yet gives accurate results. My cookies came out extraordinary and now my kids ask for them every day! Thank you.
I've used this recipe tons of times and it's really fun to make and not stressful at all. All I can say for those making it is to leave the batter in the fridge seriously helps b/c without the cookie dough will be sticky. And DONT flatten it down leave it in a ball it will flatten down themselves

I have two questions!!π 1) I want to use melted butter instead of softened, is that ok for this recipe? 2) I don't have brown sugar, if i use only white sugar, will it ruin the cookies?

Tried these twice, added extra vanilla essence second time and a bit of lemon juice as well, but i can still taste eggs and the cookies smell of the flour and eggs ( that overwhelming smell of flour, and after taste of egg, i mean)... Any idea how to mask it?
Can we replace brown sugar by something else?
My cookies did not spread properly. I chilled the dough for about an hour and immediately put them in the oven for about 15 minutes. What can I fix to make them spread nicely?
Hey I have a doubt, I tried this cookies yesterday the taste was outstanding but when time went by it got crispier like a bisket can anyone tell me the reason so that I can correct it ...... I measured all the ingredients as mentioned π’
