Tims has said himself that peoples conditions tend to get worse not better. So why are they punishing sick and disabled? Sickening what this government is doing to all sections of society whether sick or not or in work or out of work.

@suesmith3744

Giving out Samaritans information is so cruel and frightening , this proves they are well aware of the sheer stress and despair we are experiencing and don’t give a flying f%%k about it ‼️. There will be blood on their hands for sure …. This is appalling ‼️

@paulasmith-t3c

Starmer, Reeves, Kendall and Timms are absolutely despicable and have destroyed the Labour Party 😢 thankyou for another video Steve 😊

@pouncy452

He should be fired after what he done at one of the dwp dictating events walk around a disabled person passed out as a result of what he was saying and then say disabled people are in the way

@andyjones830

Dolling out Samaritans leaflets at these meetings really screams out about the danger behind this whole thing!
What more is it than a tacit admission that there is an unbelievable level of distress and fear amongst the disabled community about this?
It is a clear acknowledgement that harm is already befalling people during the "consultation process," let alone what will follow...
As a direct result of the speculation leading up to the initial announcement made in March, the announcement itself and fallout that followed, I became very anxious and caused substantial self-harm. Fortunately, I currently have a support worker (for a short term) who attended the morning after this had happened and arranged for a GP to see me as a matter of urgency. Without his intervention, things may well have gone further, and I would have found it extremely difficult to have sought treatment myself...
It is very easy for Sir Stephen Timms to talk in academic terms about the effects over ten years. Many of us are already dreading the possible consequences and consuming every single click bait article in the hope of understanding when it should be at the very least 18 months before it begins to affect us...
I am very sorry for any distress caused...

@richardajoy79

I will lose my PIP entitlement when I am assessed in 2027, it's a 100% certainty. This 4-point rule seems to be set in stone; the government can give themselves record high rises each year, yet helping people who need it get the middle finger.

@TribbleDude

Most barristers would love to question, in Court, why they are giving out a number for the Samaritans. I am sure that Judges would be interested in the answers.

@alanmiell3224

Tribunals will be going through the roof

@paulking2039

They need to cut back on the new nukes.
Just 4 new nukes cost 31bn, a years worth of PIP in 2029/30.
Obviously we'll need a lot more than just 4 new nukes, with Starver announcing 12 new submarines, which he claims will all be conventional subs, but he's not known for being entirely honest at all times.
Pip or nukes, which is more important ?

Scary times, with the war on benefits continuing and a war in Europe looming, if Labour can start one somewhere.

@peterfrancis01

Thank you for all your help and support Steve a real gentleman who cares thank you.

@elainealexander3043

A trained assessor do me a favour, the ones they have do not have a scooby do about health conditions or the disabilities that these conditions cause on a daily basis. This man has no idea, does not care about the situation genuine people with disabilities find themselves in, he should walk in their shoes for a month financially and medically.

@MelissaGarrett1980

They’re acting as if it’s already a done deal and nothing can stop them. We’ll see.

@pouncy452

Some people have lost pip now as not got 4 point all ready which is scaring me more

@Wickyworld

Do not let this get to you as this is what they want and they hope it will push folk, it’s not a done deal yet and this shower are under pressure , so wait until you know , because I have a feeling these cuts won’t happen ,if they do , I think they will regret it

@abigails5372

The Samaritans are going to pay tne bills...what an insult!

@Yvonne-ls2pw

They need to do what Timms says and look at a whole case scenario and not at numbers involved. Know they are dealing with humans and not robots.

How patronising to hand out a number to Samaritans. From them causing issues, stress and hardship.

@carl.carl.8783

It’s not just about the number of people that will lose their entitlement to benefit, but also the number of people that will have their benefit reduced by going from the enhanced rate to the standard rate that will also be affected

@thetruth-loveitorhateit7999

Excellent. As always. The timeframe is just another nail in the coffin for those they, concider lesser beings. Simple. Reassess and remove. Ongoing. One mans expert is another mans BSr. Too many mps and hangers on for the size of this once great rock. That used to at least try and look after those most vulnarable. Now theyre just filling their boots. Constantly.

@jasonstuarthartley2310

Thanks for the Info. I myself was awarded a 10 year Full PIP award in 2023. Higher rate Daily Living & higher rate Mobility. Hopefully the Labour party wont be in power by the time im up for review

@animallover1297

Hi Steve , another councillor has resigned. Michael Graham this time and he wrote quite the resignation letter too
