Nice initial review. This knife gets it done. I have carved, chopped, and have completed food prep with ease. I will probably tighten up my sheath with a heat gun that won’t take much effort.

Thx for the preview Gruggs sir! Carrying the Holtzman Gorilla Congo (warped blade 😒) and the Cretace Ares otf in N690 today. I received my ST28 and 29 a few days ago but haven’t had a chance to test either yet. Loving the look and feel though! I wish Sitivien would make more satin versions of their stainless blades

On my list! It's just a matter of time. You know me Gruggs lol... Every black box knife that I have gotten, has been A # 1, that goes especially with Sitivien! And they're a 100% USER!!! These are the kind of quality knives that one isn't afraid to scratch or dent for Pete's sake! And sell? My kids and grandkids will decide that! It's all theirs after my turn here is done... Hell, they've been getting them now lol!

Well i am curious to know one thing!
ST and Extrema ratio knives both are made from N690 steel, but why Extrema ratio is a several time more expensive then the ST!
Where is the point?! Is that because it's designed and made in Italy, more detailed craftsmanship, the brand name or waht!?!?
Does it worth to pay 500$-600$ for ER!?

Soldiers' knives are by far my favorite genre.

This is way too thick to be an actual soldiers knife, this is definitely more towards a survival knife.

Sitivien needs to freaking chill with the Jimping. Some of their knives literally have Jimping around the entire knife except the blade. It's just stupid.

Also, the finger choil... I don't dislike them and I don't understand people who do. BUT! they are sizing them according to the 10yo Chinese girl who made it in the factory. Really? All these high value Chinese fixed blades have this same problem, all of them. The choils are just big enough to try and use, but they are small enough to cut the finger of an adult male. It's really frustrating. But hey, $30 for a big beautiful survival knife (gtkii) with good steel is pretty incredible. Love all the vids
