@KabuteGaming

I have reached the point of having you in my feed as soon as the video is uploaded. Finally my algorithm is showing me some good content

@macblink

"stick to consoles and save for a mid tier PC build" is actually a great advice, you won't feel like you wasted a lot just for the same (or sometimes worse) gaming performance.. yeah mods and free online are still advantages, but if your main focus are games, it has to be a good build, at least aim for a build capable of 1080p ultra/full graphics at +120fps

@rk-fb5hw

One big advantage a mid or even low end gaming PC has is that it runs Windows, and can be used for all sorts of things a console can't.

@420_blaise_it6

The one advantage people don’t bring up for pc, is the price of games. You could own a computer and never pay full price for any game. Maybe in the short term it costs a little more to get into, but I promise you’ll save 15%-50% on every game you buy if you want to.

@the_communist_doge

Glad I have a pc than a console. It's not just the price, but also its applications.

@OongaBoognaGungaBunga

The ad hamfisted into the end there is wild

@ReganaldVonCluck

I’m straight up pirating windows

@hannahgilan8504

Also let's not forget that you don't just use the PC for entertainment. It's a work station as well, especially useful in this day and age where everything is digital and online. That's why I am saving up for a more expensive PC which would be complete overkill for gaming alone, but will work great for all the programmes I need to run.

@i_zoru

reason why u should do midrange for PC:

1. usually best price/performance
2. the resale value are not that falling down
3. worth it for future-proof

@chicken

PC gaming is a great investment for the long term, saving money on games and upgrades.

@greyson7325

I have worked on three different rigs and learned alot. I would recommend starting on the low end and working your way up.

@partytimeninja3139

You don't need to "learn the hobby" you just need to follow a guide or ask a friend. Stuff like this just puts people off.

@princezyrusnatividad8980

Once a rookie, only have 400 dollars, once thought buying a concole, now I'm addicted to pc building

@not.oskifar3038

Another great option is a steam deck. You hook it up to a monitor, keyboard and mouse and you can run a lot of stuff. If you play fortnite, valorant and most games with anti cheat then you will need an sd card for like $10 and dualboot to windows, but there are a lot of tutorials that show how to do it. Plus you can play anywhere as well

@chemsed

A PC is a must, even a budget one, if you want to play certain genre, like MOBA or RTS. Even FPS, I think that I would enjoy less those on console after years of playing with a mouse and keyboard.

@mrgallbladder

100% agree.
I'm also a huge advocate of buying used parts.

@TCHrulez

People that say consoles are the cheap option don't know what they are talking about. 500$ console plus 100$ a year for membership is 1000$ over 5 years, you can easily get a PC for that amount

@ajiteshpaul8931

The pc users know how to play games for free which is not possible in consoles always 😂

@XxShadow101xX

I built my current (first) PC for $650 back in 2020, when all the part prices dipped momentarily! Upgraded some little bits and bobs here and there, new M.2, upgraded RAM, but my CPU and GPU are still going strong! I think I did great! Although my GTX 1660 GPU is starting to show its age now.

@TheSixteen60

Zach: “Just get a console if you only have $400.”
