My boss asked me if I was familiar with mail merging, and thanks to watching your Excel tutorial video, my colleagues now have a newfound respect for me. They are impressed by my knowledge and think I possess various skills. About 30 minutes ago, my boss inquired if I could handle mail merging, and confidently, I responded affirmatively. I promptly referred back to your tutorials, where I learned how to perform the task. As a result, my colleagues have even more confidence in my abilities and regard me as someone knowledgeable. Thank you very much Mr. Kevin
Just sent an invitation for a webinar for 100 clients; the time invested looking at this video is well worth it-- it defintely beats copying-and-pasting X 100!
This is one of the easiest and cheapest ways for me to have learned how to send an email merge, instead of buying into something that costs and is still complicated. Thank you
You did a great job but I think this should be added to the lesson. I found this in the comments below. "Heads up folks, if you’re doing emails, Outlook may send them automatically instead of leaving them sitting in your outbox. If you prefer to double-check your emails before sending, you need to turn off Automatic Send/Receive. To do this, go to File --> Options --> Advanced, and then scroll down to “Send and Receive”. Uncheck the box there, and also open the settings (by clicking the Send/Receive… button) to make sure there are no other settings that might make your messages send automatically. Don’t forget to turn it back on when you’re done with your mail merge!"
I'm too embarrassed to say how many years I've been trying to use mail merge - this tutorial finally helped me crack it! Wish I had tried this all those years ago. Thank you so much
Thank you sooooo much. I work in an industry that requires me to email my warm leads and I couldnt use third party email marketing websites due to company compliance reasons and access rejects, but we do use outlook emails and excels. This tip is literally going to save me 2 hours every single day and that is MONEY!! Thank you so much again!
I am a public school teacher who is attempting to send critical information so that my families can have access to personalized materials during the COVID-19 shutdown. This tutorial was so helpful in allowing me to automate this process so that I can efficiently serve my families. Thank you so much for such a clear and direct tutorial!
I did it! Though you may want to warn folks that once you click send email, it's actually sent and not put in a draft folder so you have to be sure about the email before the final click.
I've watched several videos on how to do this and this is the first one that actually made sense and that I've been able to reference back to. Thank you so much!
I never leave comments on videos, but your tutorial was so easy and without all the unnecessary bs that most tutorials do with the subsribe sell etc. I felt like such an expert after watching it. Thanks so much.
Dude you are my hero! A Google search was useless, your guide actually worked. I had to email 119 people without anyone else email showing up on the receiving end. This saved so much time!
Thanks! Saved me about 10 hours of work by watching a to the point 7 minute video!
Thanks a million Kevin! I was DREADING having to figure this out, and you made this so easy and OK! Goodness, I'm so grateful I didn't have to sit here for two days faffing around to make it work without a video tutorial! It means spending more effort on reaching my targets at work and less on figuring out my toolbox...
I just got an email campaign assignment from my employer and wasn’t sure how to go about it. I probably would’ve chosen the long way to do this. But your video just saved my life. Thank you so much for creating content like this. I hope to continue learning more helpful tips from you and become marketable as an employee.
KEVIN MY MAN YOU'VE SAVED ME DAYS OF WORK, I WAS CREATING 250 NEARLY IDENTICAL DOCUMENTS AND NOW I CAN JUST MAKE LIKE 5
OMG, Kevin! You're a lifesaver. I felt like a god when I was able to execute this successfully. As a Clerk (in a hospital laboratory) having many staff/colleagues to keep track of, this is the perfect way to get things done. Thank you so much.
This was so helpful! I've done plenty of word merges, but never an email merge. I knew it could be done but just didn't know all the steps in their correct order. Thanks for breaking it down and making it simple!
Kevin, thank you very much~! I've done this last few times with your video, and now even if I already know how to do it I feel much safer with your voice in the background :)
Finally a tutorial that shows the last step, how to actually send the emails. I have watched 4 before and they all missed that very important step! Love it. You just gained a suscriber :)
