"Canary" builds are a common term for many types of software. Literally deriving from "Canary in a coal mine", if you're familiar with that saying. Basically, if you use canary builds, you are the canary that has to brunt all the bugs and instability in exchange for being bleeding edge. Its sort of like alpha builds but with even less testing

I keep seeing videos of people covering the unleashed recomp saying things like "you can do this with any xbox 360 game" without actually explaining it's not a drag and drop a rom experience so thank you for actually explaining how it works properly

You should totally do a PS3 emulation video! There's so much great about PS3 emulation rn. RPCS3 is one of the best emulators I've used because it's got a ton of quality of life features like a link to the compatibility of your games on a wiki that states what problems there are and current work rounds and patches, and there are multiple revival projects going on for online play, a fan server hosting modnation racers creator content (seeing Invincible driving the IMP van from Helluva Boss is a trip for a game 2010). Little Big Planet also has fan projects reincorperating the old player created levels from the original servers. It's a great time to be a PS3 Emulation fan
