I remember the choir teacher getting mad that no one could sing and do the dances at the same time for the musical in my high school one year, so he put the students on a cardio vocal training program that was just sprinting while belting out ballads. It helped almost as much as it hurt 😅

Classically trained singer here (an operating room nurse now), but my pitch and tone is very similar to yours and that song is HARD to sing. But I just did the album version F#5 BELT of “I told you so” in my car and I swear to god I sat in shock at the stoplight, and the little lady in the car next to me must’ve heard me because you have to push that shit out from a gut. I use operatics for the falsetto portion in that upper register. The way this woman seamlessly flips from chest to head voice is INSANE. So incredibly talented. But I am so proud of me for hitting that note! 😂😂
