"When Order 66 hit us, it was like some sort of haze. Like everything we went through with the Jedi suddenly didn't happen. All the memories, the pain, the hopes, the laughs we had... gone. Replaced by something else... It took years for the chips to degrade, the truth coming back to us like a creeping realization. That you helped kill the only people in the galaxy who gave a damn about you... I don't blame the few of us that stayed with the Empire... To live a convenient lie, over a bitter truth."
"It's a good thing we were wearing helmets, because none of us could bear to look her in the eye"
"Loyalty means everything to the clones."
This is somehow more tragic than just losing their free will, their memories are changed. All the things they did with their generals used against them. Instead of being forced to kill the Jedi, they’re tricked into wanting to.
The idea that the inhibitor chips alters their memories of the Jedi from being heroic to monsters is such an amazing concept. I love this!
Roses are red, Loacher is best, This video was like gold in a treasure chest.
I can’t help but think of the Halo announcer voice saying “betrayal”
He never would have drawn his lightsaber on them Not even in self defense
"Become a police force? We weren't bred for that." Coroscaunt guard clones: Excuse me. What the f*ck?
This is genius storytelling. I wouldn't even thought of clone memories being altered for making sure they complete Order 66. I love this.
Clone 1: I can't believe we trusted the Jedi?! Clone 2: Yeah I mean remember when he used Pike as a shield after he got shot in the leg? Clone 1: Yeah...wait I'm Pike!!! Clone 2: ... Clone 1: ...
It pains me so much how the captain stared at his Jedi General like asking for permission to go get the transmission...
Their memories being altered is 100% canon to me now
This makes Rex's resistance to the order make a whole lot more sense
The chips in Clones under General Krell didn't even need to alter memories
Jesse remembers how Ahsoka Tano abused her authority on Umbara and got many of his brothers killed in suicide attacks. He remembered she wanted to have him and Fives executed for disobeying orders and later how she tricked the 501st and 212th into attacking one another. He also remembers Rex being Ahsoka's patsy and not caring one bit how she treated his brothers.
Wow, this is a real movie-quality production! Love that you show the 104th and their encounter with Order 66! Beautifully done, Loacher! The whole POV memory portion was incredible....
not gonna lie, this really hit harder than it should have.
Outstanding animation, visuals, voice acting and story. Only downside is how short it is, which is to be expected. Great work as always man!
