And… a new career high with 38 points in 3 quarters for Risacher… Just a few days after his 36 points scoring performance (previous career high). Castle is great no doubt. But the way Risacher is ending this season separates him from Castle. He is the ROTY. And France will have back to back ROTY awards after getting back to back #1 picks. Pretty good… 😅

If we're talking about ceiling. I think you have to put Matas #1..... you also have to think about the bigs like Sarr, Edey, and Ware. Edey.... like him or not, has a crazy ceiling... Brook Lopez, but 4 inches taller and more mobile. But I'm talking ceilings. What Matas did in the last 6 weeks of the season makes me want to throw out the ceiling part of his claim. He looks like he could develop into a number one option on a winning team.

Castle is a better player right now, but he could not have been the Number 1 pick for a very simple reason. Hawks did not need a guard.....

#1 should be Sarr. Dont get this Castle glaze when he’s still an inefficient shooter when he is given 30+ usage in March to put up numbers. His defense is also not elite. How is he ever gonna that usage with Wemby Fox Vassell on the team healthy?

Castle is better and deserves the ROTY. But only because it's about stats. Castle plays in a team with less expectations, barely playing the play-in. His stats are crazy though. Risacher has built himself up a concrete role in a playoffs contender team. He's cold blood hard worker, not injury prone. No excess, no waves, just work, healthy way of life and work, work, work. Stats can be really better but I'm french and i've followed him for about 4/5 years right now, this kid will be great.
