As someone who have been marginalized by the human driven recruitment "system" - this is just defending the status quo biases and discrimination. Give me the AI recruitment systems. At least they have some chance of being different than the current one which has excluded me. I vehemently oppose the protection of the status quo under the guise of "risk minimization" legislation.
