Jesse Plemons detailed description of why he checks the mail later in the day is brilliant
In the credits, there is a letter from Frito-Lay answering his question about whether or not they offer the 3-for-1 deal
“I think that’s it” - gets me every time
I love the slow zoom-in on Jesse Plemons' in this scene.
This movie was actually great. Not the usual generic comedy every year.
Everyone is talking about Plemons but Jason Bateman is one of the greatest comedic straight men of all time.
No lie, I laughted so hard and long after this line that I started crying.....Gary literally made the movie! So glad they made that a big role, Plemons killed it.
“These corporations(?)…I don’t know what they’re doing.” kills me. Plemons is stellar but Bateman‘s straight man nails this scene!
One of the things that distinguishes this film above most other Hollywood comedies (apart from the obv stellar performances) is the fine photography. It's REALLY well shot.
This movie needs a sequel solely for more scenes with Gary
His character made me very uncomfortable but that just proves that he is a very good actor
This is without a doubt one of the best performances in comedic movie history. The line delivery is absolutely impeccable. Gary as a character wouldn’t have worked with anyone else playing him
Plemons deserved at least an Oscar nom for this role.
This is one of the best, most underrated/under-marketed comedies from the past 5 years. I find new things to love and laugh at during every rewatch!
This man is finally Oscar nominated
He was way above and beyond the level of good this role even asked for. He was TOO good lol
How can that be profitable for Frito-Lay?
I'll never forgot I was about to watch this at home one night The wife joined me and we laughed so hard, one of my favorite memories, Jesse killed it as the awkward neighbor
He is like the best character of that whole beautiful movie!! Damn what an actor! ❤️
