@TechSource

Who wants to see more laptop reviews on the channel?

@Master_Sword

$4500? Plastic shell? To keep the cost down? C'mon man...letting them slide on cheap build quality ain't you Ed. The build quality of a $300 laptop on something that costs this much is blasphemy. It's clear that the plastic isn't to keep costs down, it's to maximize profits.

@Belgarath777

Nice laptop. I'm leaning toward the Stix scar 18". I would prefer a mini-LED for that better blooming control and HDR punch.

@MRSYDUCKK

so fire. I love your videos TechSource. :trophy-yellow-smiling:

@SonicDavid

Isn’t the 5090 on the laptop not equivalent to the pc graphics card?

@Sunder896

FINALLY, someones saying it! 14:33 this is the sad state of this country right now, where a gaming laptop is a better deal than building your own PC!

@akshay5432

Sad reality regarding the tariffs and building your own pc but I 100% agree with you on that one Ed.

@rahulbhati5410

Ed please use cinebench benchmark next time, want to see the cpu score and how hot the cpu can get on full load, during gaming its only 50% utlized at most!

@tadhaharmit_07

Watching this video brought back so many memories of watching your old reviews, you should def do more of these technical pieces!

@breatheair4682

gonna order this i was having doubts because i need to carry my laptop everywhere so cannot build a pc
thanks for clearing the doubts ed🙌

@dipakh3j2jy20

Kudos to ROG for giving us an easy to remove the rear cover for upgrades! All the other brands should copy this!

@MV..gaming1979

Was litterally shopping around for a gaming laptop when this video popped up on my feed!

@simransandhu7151

Couldn't agree more with the outro. Well said

@Decor_624

Love the flow of this video and its chapters

@sardadevi2055

Banger video Eddy, please do more laptop reviews!

@FionatheFiend

I bought the Asus G16 285 RTX 5090. It's not meant for long gaming sessions. My machine kept overheating and crashing so it had to be returned back. I exchanged it with the SCAR 18 275HX RTX 5090 which be delivered in a couple of days.
My current desktop PC is an Intel 285k RTX 5090. I'm not a computer review person but the difference between a laptop 285h rtx 5090 and desktop 285k 5090 is huge. The desktop is over double the speed. One test i did recently was 3Dmark. The benchmark was timespy extreme and the 5090 285h laptop achieved a score of 9,020 and my desktop 285k 5090 got 22,402.
Please note my computers have apps running in the background for my personal uae and it's not a clean setup meant for juat benchmarks.

@JumpmansAdventures

Thanks for making such great videos, and inspiring me to upgrade my setup!

@AliArghavan

00:40 laptop 5090 is basically a 5080. Thanks for the ad

@jaimevasquez8651

As a truck driver this laptop is perfect. I’ll be definitely getting this masterpiece

@rccosplay3249

I've always knew the day would come that a laptop can play MSFS on high settings with decent FPS and little to no stuttering. Go Asus, Also the MSI raider 18" is great with a intel CPU and Nvidia GPU 5080 as well as 64GB DDR7 high speed 6400 RAM. I've tested both, and both are a desktop replacement for sure.
