Thank you Dillon for pointing out the example of NHTSA stimulating Tesla to make sure FSD camera vision will be able to handle all, or at least most, of real world challenging visibility scenarios
I appreciate all the work you put into this and always look forward to your videos. Have a great weekend.
the crash test issue for europe is not about the safety inside the car, thats ok. its more about bisicle and pedestrian safety and impact.
I could see a terminal where cars pull up, get cleaned, get charged, and move on to their next client.
My reservation was for a $49-$69k 500mi version. Still waiting. 500mi is essential for my RV towing.
Great to hear about the partnership between Samaritan's Purse and Tesla. Samaritan's Purse volunteers also cleaned up a bunch of fallen trees in my sister's yard north of Asheville, for which she is very grateful. Kudos to both organizations.
"Into the FUD BUCKET!" I love it.
I love seeing the collaboration between Samaritans Purse and Tesla for disaster relieve. I have a high regard for and support both organizations independently.
Hey Dillon, regarding the Cybertruck reservation list:you’re forgetting that many reservation holders are in countries where it is not yet available. I’m in the UK and know of at least 3 people who placed a reservation over here…
I bet all these new clips were supposed to be part of that 40 mins of lost presentation time due to the 2 emergencies
Your video is a great way to end the week. Happy weekend to all!
That wireless charger looked like it’s ready to distribute. Cybertruck has stubbed out connectors that would take a receiving coil. I wouldn’t be surprised if they implement it on all new car sales as an upgrade in the next 6 months.
I like the reference to stealership. That's so true. Even if the other brands have good products, I cringe at the thought of buying from a dealership. Buying from Tesla is painless.
The real question is when did these crashes happen? With FSD having had so many recent breakthroughs recently, this may not be a current issue.
Thanks Dillon! Good to hear that there is another truck available for consumers that can get the job they need done! Way to go GMC!
My Cybertruck purchase is mostly waiting on the 500 miles per charge I factored in. Standard. It's coming, so I can wait.
There is heated cement to clear away all snow. It uses hot ethylene glycol solution that is pumped through the cement. My church has that system keep the walkways clear for Saturday and Sunday Church services.
About the cybertruck safety. Note that the European authorities didn’t say that the truck wasn’t safe for its occupants. Their concerns are for the other persons involved in the accident. I am sure Tesla also did test for this, but since it is something radically different and the results haven’t been confirmed by an external authority and some companies lies on their self certification (Boeing anyone), this can be understandable.
The $80k Cybertruck, is dual motor. The $40k was a single motor.
