I used AutoCAD version 2003 back in college, which was about 10 years ago. I haven’t practiced much since then, but recently, I had to draw an oil field location for my job using AutoCAD. The modern version, 2025, is quite different from what I was used to, but this video has been incredibly helpful in refreshing my skills. I'm really grateful and thankful to you. Your way of explaining things is simple, and your accent is lovely and easy to understand. Thanks again, and keep up the great work!

@joshruanto

I'm zero knowledge in Autocad and I'm just learning today. I'll update on my comment once I become proficient. Thank you

@dunnobout

new subscriber here! I love how you explain everything in detail! during my college days I wasn't able to really learn about AutoCAD due to lack of resources but with your help, it made it easier for me to learn the basics! keep up the good work! TYSM

@pierrenassour222

thank you ! I have seen much of teachers, university profs and doctors, the way you are teaching this is just perfect and obviously made with passion. I wish you could make a video about autocad electrical tutorials and the difference between autocad and autocad electrical if its about 2d rooftop drawing or plans :)

@youssefmostafa2063

Wow! great organization of content and fascinating explanation!

Great video and thanks for sharing. The house resource you shared seem different. The one of the layers of the downloaded file is showing doors and windows but the one you used for the tutorial is showing "Dimensions and Tex...." I have checked the layer properties of the downloaded file and can only see Doors and Windows, Driveway, Floor Plan and Property Lines. Dimensions and Tex is missing. Kindly advise

@sydneytse3014

Great video! I've got a question - Under "Setting Units and Modifying", the centre point of my object is not showing for me to snap when using any modifying function,, why is that and how can I fix it? Anyone please.

@CameronIves-m2v

Very informative video so far--about an hour in. I notice you keep referencing quizzes and assignments, and I'm a bit confused on where to find those. I found the two resources for the first structure requirement and the house download, but I'm not sure where the assignments or quizzes are. Thanks!

@mateimatei3725

Thanks, explained well and helpful

@Danen_draws

@marcelopotosi2783

Hi, I'm completely new to AutoCAD and found this tutorial which seems to be great so far, thank you for sharing this tutorial. However, I found something really weird when I was learning annotation, once I was adding the dimensions, I was getting different measurements than the ones in the tutorial. For example, the wall between the windows in the top left of the building, in the video it shows 11'8 9/16", and when I did it it read 4'9 5/16", obviously, a big difference. What I did was I deleted all the measurements I had so far and redid them, and this time the numbers were matching. I wonder what I did wrong in the first place...
