Next video recommendation: Why putting high volume background music is a Terrible Idea
So your one reason is that they use plastic to float them but then you explain it away with places that are using recycled plastic. Whats the point of this video again?
Why This Video Title was a Terrible Idea
With rapid developments in chemistry it should be possible to make HDPE from agri-waste biomass or plantations of beema bamboo (fast growing, high density) via bio-oils via pyrolysis or hydro-thermal liquifaction. Incidentally, such plantations sequester large amounts of CO2 as well.
Dislike that I have to get to half way through the video before getting the answer to the title, I prefer getting an answer early and having it expanded upon
Where did you get the number of floating solar farms being 15% more expensive than on land based solar farms from?
I would have watch this if it didn’t have that background noise…
Floating solar is good idea. In #indian we developed world largest floting solar plant #600MW.
Maybe it would help if these solar panels have gaps between to allow light to reach marine life below; provide helpful amount of shade and heat absorboption to what is underneath
Oh by the way you forgot to mention the chemicals that will leach into the water when a panel is damaged. Deadly chemicals.
Well analysed. We are unable to harness rooftop pv potential?
I think they repay their CO2 footprint over their lifetime.
Hmm it bad but plastic could be used with solar could produce green energy. Neat.
Agri Voltaic has Many Opportunities. Clean Power and Food. Business Model.
Making a master thesis bout offshore solar I found this video
Why don't use bamboo or something like that
Land need for farm and other functions. better make solar panel in dam water no need worried for marine life
click bait title and lame video.. the actual information was ok.
