i am in UK , i also noticed same here, if a man in electric wheel chair he can himself go to super market and purchase all the things and come back to home without any other person's help. Thats how all the system designed not only curb, what ever public/private access infrastructure such as supermarket, mall, hospital, bustand and all. To have it in our home country city planner/Pwd engineer should change or his thought should change. But his thought will not change over the money . Money has all thoughts.

തിരുവന്തപുരത്തു സ്മാർട്ട് സിറ്റി പ്രോജക്ടിന്റെ ഭാഗം ആയിട്ടു ഉണ്ടാക്കിയിട്ടുള്ള ഫുട്പാത് നോക്കിയാൽ മനസിലാകും ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥരുടെ വിവരം. ഒരു വീൽ ചെയർ പോയിട്ട് മനുഷ്യന് പോലും നടക്കാൻ പറ്റില്ല. അതിർക്കു വീതിലാണ് ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നത് .
