When I work on these machines I like to think: “it’s probably so dangerous because they didn’t expect unskilled people to open them”. Then I remember how easy they are to open 😂😂😂
Huge transformer and huge capacitor, the most fun combination
Do you know? The Commodore PET can be opened like a hood of a car and can be serviced like a car
Gotta call electroboom to handle that one
Looks Like MICROwave Power Supply💀
That guy opens his computer looking like a car hood 💀
For context power supplies for computers hold a lot of electricity even when unplugged for a long time, always make sure to ground yourself when working on computers 👍
That big old crusty musty dried out capacitor looks like a great toy(when connected to rectifier and transformer)
Wow, haven't seen one of these in ages! I learned BASIC on a Commodore PET-20. My private high school's computer lab had several of these, and also a couple of Radio Shack TRS-80 Model 1's. The lab teacher had an Osborne 1 that he brought in occasionally.
Нравяться мне такие ретро компьютеры. Жаль простому рабочему от них нету толка в наше время.
I love how the thing opens up like the hood of a car
thanks my friend! I laughed a lot! greetings from Argentina!
I see he wanted to kick in some spice on saying dumb ways to fry⭐
That computer is so cute. I wish I had one of those.❤
Yeah, 👍😎 Nice Hat Ashton 🤟😎
even more fun with vacuum tube voltages and electrolytic capacitors. Jacob's Ladder
Reminder for electronics: don't touch the cilinders, Even the green ones. Unplug, then, open the computer and touch what you want then.
Yes. The power core has a half life. No touchy☠️😂😂
Bro was like treating it like he was opening the hood of the car where the engine is 😂
