Fundamentally, they're the same mechanism or mode of operation for the vocal anatomy: cricothyroid-dominant, with the vocal folds stretched and thinned out.
Can you please make counter-tenor warm up?for some of us...
I'm a vocalist. Singing is my passion. But there's one thing that has been hard for me from the start. It's dancing or moving on stage at all😔 For some reason it always makes me uncomfortable even at the times when I'm confident in my singing. Over the years coaches tried to get me more comfortable with it, and it only made me feel awkward during voice lessons. There was a time you said on one of your posts that you like dancing as much as singing. Can you share your background with dancing and in your opinion can a person learn dancing?
I have another question, how many vocal registers are there? Because i keep on hearing new ones like flageolet and i heard something thats lower than chest voice? Its confusing me
I agree with you, they’re the same thing. But for some reason I always call it falsetto when it’s a man and head voice when it’s a women
I kinda get it myself.. but kinda hard to explain.😅
To me a head voice is different from falsetto its more down to the tone. Falsetto is a soft airy feel to it where as a head voice is stronger. Technically they are the same but they feel different but thats just the way i look at things.
I am falsetto, and ,they are the same, although not all all head voice, are falsetto
In Hawaiian music, there’s definitely a difference lol
i’m a guy and i can sing up to a C five in falsetto. is that ever going to be used in singing classically like on broadway etc? that’s my dream
Am sorry they are different falsetto comes from the word false voice it’s when the vocal chords are not connected to eat other that’s why it is that airy when head voice it’s when the vocal chords are connected with a predominant head:nasal resonnance
