Not only did the mother know, I guarantee she resented her daughter and was jealous of her. In her sick twisted mind Madeline stole her boyfriend. Her lack of emotion was obvious, her false tears. Both of those scumbags deserve prison for life.

I cannot believe the mother wasn't charged with anything. She should have actually been charged with Child endangerment. She knew exactly what was going on in that house. She even admits it when she says that she doesn't want her boyfriend to run away with her daughter. I hope the prosecutors change their mind and prosecute for child endangerment

I am disgusted by the mother. She allowed this to happen. It's impossible for her to not know anything. Poor girl, she had no one to protect her. Didn't stand a chance in this life.
