I agree that Nahida’s versatility is slowly diminishing with the focus shifting off Dendro, and burning teams not caring for her at all. Her flaws have also become more highlighted with the release of units who powercreep in the QOL and practicality department, as you mentioned. But the thing with Nahida’s pull value that she has over all the other top tier units (Kazuha, Furina, Xilonen) is that she’s also essentially a full time carry. No other unit has such a high supportive/off field profile, while also single-handedly serving as one of your abyss teams (hyperbloom, to be exact). The other top units are great at supporting, but they need to support a good 5* carry to begin with. Obviously, you should have good carries anyway, but Nahida’s consolidation in being the premium dendro team staple (outside of burning) while also being able to delegate herself to a complete hyperbloom team keeps her up there not in terms of strength, but in value.

the fact that nahida unlocks the hyperbloom core , for f2p players and hyperbloom is considered most easy to build gives her more pull value in a f2p starter account for me . xilonen is a great buffer and healer but still she cannot create a team core . so for me if ur a f2p and dont have that many characters at all just go for hyperbloom if u have layed for a long time i would perfer xilonen because you already have team cores to start with .

Your opinions are true for veterans, and old players. But i respectfully disagree for new players. Because someone without nahida is missing out on a lot. Xilonen buffs elemental dps teams, and these elemental dps’s are so hard to build, especially for f2p casuals, cause of artifact rng and lack of craftable 4star weapons. Plus almost all such characters need a sub dps, like hutao+yelan, and still can be powercrept easily, like arle did. But nahida does something else. She is the best character for bloom reactions, which are extremely powerful, and so much so, that it cant be powercrept, so hoyo releasing new dendro units that dont compete in bloom, but target entirely different reaction of burning instead. For casuals, nahida team is so easy to build, including artifacts rng, as cr cd not needed, great 4 star team options like xinque etc, and bloom reactions are easy abyss clears. In short, xilonen buffs a dps, without dps, she is shit, and dps keeps getting powercrept, but nahida dont need dps, as bloom like reactions dont need dps. If you cant clear abyss, and dont have nahida, you are missing on a lot. Such players please pick nahida and save your account. Otherwise if abyss you can clear, and dont need bloom team, you can pick xilonen, but remember that you need to keep pulling best dps’s, as xilonen’s value greatly depend on it

I love Chiori but she really need an actual team. Sorry, but she is basicly bogged down by Itto being mid. She need an actual good geo dps who create or synergise with constructs.

Xilonen really packed Chiori. Chiori life was so short her construct limitations really fucked her up.

Will definitely try pulling Xilonen and Nahida. I would try going for Zhongli, but tbh I need a strong wind dps for Imaginarium Threatre, so hopefully Chasca in the future could fulfil that role.

Pulling C0R1 Chiori because she’s hot. I think that’s pretty good reason to do so. Both weapons are pretty good for her too which is a win. Hope I win lol.

This weapon banner is so cracked for people pairing Xilonen with Furina, Xilonen will always proc the geo passive for Furina holding Misugiri.

Nahida is irreplaceable on a bunch of Dendro teams, where the team would just stop working without her. Xilonen (and Kazuha by extension) aren't as irreplaceable. If I replace them in a Neuvillete/Arlecchino/Quicken team, I can still have a fully functional team that's still good enough.

For new players: - Prio Nahida AND/OR Xilonen (Xilonen might rerun much sooner so maybe getting Nahida first is a better option BUT, if you don't plan on centralizing on Dendro teams/have characters that get a HUGE upgrade with Xilonen/don't have Kazuha yet then it really is just up to you) Veterans: - What are you even doing, ofc pull Xilonen (imagine playing the game for 2+ yrs without pulling Nahida)

Bro u forgot how quickly Nahida & kazuha break elemental shield which is most important for many players.. i spend almost 1yr without dendro unit ... I know how hard it is to defeat enemies protected with elemental shield in abyss.. and Nahida is one who solved this issue as well kazuha!
