Howโs your experience with it vs 49 inch model? I have been using the 49 inch for about 3 years now and was thinking of upgrading to 57 inch
Nah the 49 looked so beautiful and perfect
Watching from my 21" monitor. Looks good
I picked up the 49" Samsung G95SC two days ago. I was going to buy the 57"monitor. I'm glad I didn't the 49" is big enough for me, plus it pairs well with my NVIDIA 4080 Super. 12/20/2024 1218
Which monitor is this. Id like it actually the first looks better lol links for either please. Thanks :)
I had the 49" Samsung but I really need a second monitor for my gaming so I returned and got a 32" OLED 240hz. Add in the fact many games do not support ultra wide made the decision easy.
Good!! How do you say "good" in Slovak!
I've been using this monitor for about a year, it took me a long time to make the decision to go for this over the OLED. My use case is the same, vast majority of usage is for coding and need the text clarity. I think I made the right decision! I've not been brave enough to try a mounting arm for it yet though!
I came from 3 27 inch curved samsung monitors. Upgraded to the 49 inch smart monitor eliminating a need for a switch since I Displayport to my HP and HDMI out to my Samsung Laptop and my 34 inch Samsung vertical monitor. As an app dev and programmer, I need space. This monitor is bad ass but is upgrading to this worth it? Maybe eliminate my 34 inch flat vertical. How easy is it to see to my left and right while writing code. Please tell me, so I dont go to Best Buy and let Lil Timmy walk me out with an upgrade lol.
I will love my 57" Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 until the end of time โค ๐๐
What should be the ideal distance for such a big monitor like between the user and the monitor so that you can cover every angle because i feel like if we are too close we can get neck pains๐ ?
I wish I could get one that works. Got back to back dead on arrival Odyssey 57โ. Really tempted to just get a refund and get something else. A shame because there is no other monitor this size.
39" 5k2k 240hz Oled 1800r is what i want
May I have the 49โ?
I bought an ultra ultra wide. 49". I found it pretty good for productivity. Having 5 documents open to what would normally be full screen, side by side. Great for web editing with the website, the back end, photoshop, image library and a Word doc open at the same time. For gaming. it was HORRIBLE. Motion sickness and even at 8 feet away I was struggling to catch details at the periphery of the screen. eventually I went back to traditional ultrawide, and flat (I really dislike the aesthetic of curved). Had a second screen for other documents. that I either turn off for gaming or have Netflix or a web page open while gaming.
Man I just got my 49 inch 6 months ago. I do alot of photography edits and this 57 inch looks so damn tempting. My wife would go nuts if she shes another monitor. So its a huge difference to you?
What monitor arm did you go with?
Did you have to get used to the curved screen? Does it ever bother you? Curious. Thinking about purchasing one.
beautiful :)
