Thank you for this video! No power after Hurricane Zeta and my boyfriend was called into work. I was able to start the generator on my own.

From a widow, whose late husband always handled things like this, Thank You!! I greatly appreciate you

100% best Generater.Systems I have used. A test for hurricane prep here in Louisiana: three AC units, 5000, 5000 & 8000, 3 fridges, 2 device power setups, 4 flat screens....AND I had 40% of the power meter to spare.

@kpratt5960

My old generator died after 20yrs. Would’ve cost more to have it fixed. Bought the 208cc because I needed “something” on hand and the price fit my budget.
Guess who missed placed the instruction booklet? 🙋‍♀️
Yours was the first video and I got it started right up!! Thank you SO much!!

@sharonathanasas209

Appreciate this video! New to using a generator & have only needed to use twice. Both times I struggled to start it even though its new not realizing to SLOWLY change the choke to run. Big thankyou!

@Hugmiff1

You will have much more success if you shut off the fuel - the gas lever- and let it run until it dies. That will draw the remaining fuel out of the carburetor so the carburetor doesn't get gummed up from sitting between uses. What you demonstrated was useful and that makes your demonstration video worthwhile. Nice job.

I have the very same generator. Mine been setting for 3 months. Got it out today and that little work horse started first pull. I ran it for 7 days in in an power outage. I couldn't believe I was the only one on my street that had a generator.
    Neighbors would come by and ask me to charge there batteries and phones. Friends came over and we would wach DVD movies and pop popcorn and hot drinks. Seems to me a generator is a very important thing to have these days because we have record breaking weather every year.

@artadams1

Turn the generator off by cutting the fule, this way all the gas is run out of the generator and won't gum it up while sitting. Also advise to add oil to new champion generators as they ship with no oil in the crank case.

@sheikgold

Thanks so much my guy This helped me so much today I’m a production assistant and I’m on set for a indie film and we have to wear many hats and fill many roles yesterday I was a painter today I am a handy man/electrician 😂💪🏾💯

@Ian_Comics

Thanks. This came in handy for the blizzard rolling in tonight.

@FounderOf4

You are a gentleman and a scholar!!

@stevenbarker2600

When turning off the generator the manual says to turn off the fuel supply FIRST. That allows for the generator to stop because of "fuel starvation". When the generator stops because of fuel starvation then turn off the ON OFF switch. This is the proper way to shut down the generator and makes a big difference when starting again and the life of the generator.

@rosie4runner965

Thank you ! Very straight forward and easy to understand.

@dkguy8117

mega important...don't forget to put oil in the crankcase, unless you want to seize it!

@PINKiown

best and most simplest tutorial yet! thanks

@evacobosg

Gracias, bien explicado, ahora lo intento yo.

@wooh88

Great video and up to the point ! Thank you

@supa407

Now, I gotta figure out how to keep it running

@samwister6373

It is historically cold in Texas, hopefully i won't need my generator but i got it started

@carsonharris5842

Where do you put the oil??? And how much do I add ??
