I hate light concealer. I prefer foundation shade concealer, then i brighten with a powder product

I spent 50 on a este lauder concealer not my shade and im getting a gray ashy look. No one said get your shade 1st. Makeup is expensive and it can really go on and on.

Use a shade of pink to red to hide the darkness. Next, go with whatever shade/s to cover make your skin look natural.

so it should have a warm undertone and be a shade close to our skin tone first then use the brightening concealer? what if we have a cool undertone...does the first step still apply??
