@innoc32

Great video, good content - honest critique, the sound effects are too much/too loud. May be different for others, but I personally found them very distracting

@alexrennison8070

What is with the random music? I feel like I’m listening to top10 scares/Das Boot πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

@fortunalondon8692

That pension bonus point was a gem πŸ’Ž thanks to

@kalliebreunig

Really helpful overview, especially the pension bonus point – definitely something to consider. I agree that the sound effects can be a bit distracting though!

@RobiNoahEstates

Great short and sweet tips, just subscribed your channel.

Hi you said don't search for properties before your mortgage is ready: how can you get mortgage ready you don't know what property you're going to buy and how much it's going cost? Meaning how much to borrow? The council give the opposite tips: get your house evaluate first and then you have 12 weeks to sort your mortgage or accept the offer. Thanks

@juliagirtler8616

Thank you! Super helpful video with clear information, love the visual!

@theneophytejournal

thanks so much for making this dummy proof (im the dummy) and you got to the point instead of giving it all the BS.
Appreciated.

@czpb-y2s

This is really difficult to watch with all the random sound effects.

@aglaisio

In Scotland the rules are very different. All offers have to be made via your solicitor in writing. Once under offer aka offer accepted, then gazzumping is not possible.

@lavayuki

the employment history isn't true. I switched jobs after having three months of unemployment, and I easily got a mortgage with barclays with just one payslip and my job contract. Lloyds were also the same, you don't need 12 months. They accept a permanent job contract even if you just start.

@jacked4property

Great video and super helpful, thanks Alex! An alternative cheaper version of home buyers which I found more helpful was a digital property condition report. Definitely worth considering plus gave some good costings on the renovation which was very helpful too.

@Andymft-g5s

good video but all the sound effects and things poping up can get distracting

@NahlaTorres-f7h

Thanks for your advice! Just tell me how to check the quality of the materials from which the house is built? How to check if there are toxic industries nearby? Maybe there are some websites for this?

@TheJazNetwork

Great video, thank you. Have subbed.

@munhassan7840

@mmazher5826

Sorry i didn't get 'once mortgage is ready you can start searching the property' does that mean once we have agreement in principle in hand?

@frankeewizz4826

Hi Alex, thanks for these videos some great pointers for peoples individual circumstances I will definitely be using your services when the times comes, hopefully within the next 2 years.

A question I have is do β€œBuy Now Pay Later” payments have any influence on a mortgage lenders decision? I use Zilch to spread my payments for purchases and this has enabled me to reach the maximum credit limit of Β£2250 and has improved my overall credit limit. Just wondering if this does have an influence would I need to stop paying for purchases using BNPL?
