I know I'm a little late to this tutorial 🤣 but I found that you can simplify the formatted time into a one liner with this:  

$: formattedTime = new Date(elaspedTime).toISOString().slice(11, -1);

Hopefully this might help someone in the future!

Ah i was trying to code ahead, and for my pause i did clearInterval(interval). but makes a lot more sense to check state inside setInterval
