does one of those examples, have the capability of using RDP (remote desktop), to connect to a windows server (if one is wanting to attempt a linux machine at home, but still needs to RDP via VPN to a windows server on a work network?

a linux user must have a lot of spare time to deal with all the errors and tweaks. Linux is not for layman or home user. get a diploma in Linux before you use it. every distro is incomplete. even Ubuntu can't update it's own app store.
