I lived in Richmond in the late 80s/early 90s. That entire area of Rchmond near them was a no go area. You'd hear gun shots, screaming. If one of them walked into a pub people would quietly get up and leave from another door. Nobody rang the cops no matter what they did because for one the cops wouldn't come near their stomping ground & for another thing they gave so much info to the cops they'd be told as soon as anyone did dog on them & go after that person - or that person's family. They weren't fussy. Btw: Jenny wasn't his girlfriend. She was his hostage.

My friend unknowingly bought her house in Richmond! The sons house next door was torn down and the ground fully excavated. It's a corner block park now

I remember partying into the night when Walsh St happened, and when the truth was revealed that the young men were innocent I went on a 3-day bender of celibration. I still celebrate Walsh St day with my kids.
