In order to keep our recommendations up to date, we maintain a 'Buyer's Guide' (with a wide spectrum of models, and a lot of technical and lifestyle-related information). Organizing our recommendations this way makes it easier to include good models that we haven't made review-videos for yet, as well as to remove models which have developed unforeseen wear-issues over time, or which have been weakened by the manufacturer in their current iterations. You can access the guide (in addition to our 4-part video series on Choosing the Right Stroller for your Lifestyle, and other helpful content), as well as contact us directly on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/posts/stroller-buyers-37953864

Hi! Thanks for the video! Your channel was very helpful when I was searching for a stroller last year. I took the Nuna and it’s a beauty. But I’ve just bought a Melio CARBON and I don’t think they’re comparable other than on the price range.

Nuna is by far more comfortable for the baby, but think calling the Nuna “lightweight” is too optimistic. If you’re on postpartum trying to rebuild your perineal muscles and have a 5kg baby to carry, the extra weight is a huge difference. And there’s not only a 3kg difference, since the Nuna+seat clocks on 11kg at least. Same if you leave on a big city in Europe, where there are almost no lifts on the metro stations, and only staircases in most buildings.

Again, I love the Nuna. The design is amazing. It’s so smooth to push. It’s stable, and feels very premium.
But it’s rear frame is 2cm too big to pass on the metro station. And it’s way too heavy for me alone with the baby and groceries. The fact that you need both hands to open it makes it really unpractical to fold/unfold if you have a baby in your arms.

If I had to make the choice again, I’d take the Melio.

I also see a lot of yo-yos here, but it’s really not comfortable for the kid, and it’s handle is too low, you can see that it is not a stroller comfortable enough for everyday life. And the accessories are really expensive.

Melio has the same newborn friendly features, it’s sure not as strong or as beautiful as the Nuna. But, anyway, a kid that’s more than 2yo won’t be full time on a stroller to use this as a criteria.

If someone is considering one of those models, I can say for sure that they’re great options (specially if the design matters for you) and the choice lies on if your environment requires a lot of carrying and folding the stroller, specially if you’re often by yourself with no other pair of arms to help. ❤❤❤

Can you please review the Nuna Ixxa? It’s as light as the melon, but seams sturdier….
