Fun movie trivia: Teddy was so iconic in this roll that his acting career suffered as a result until he finally landed a roll as "Ted" with Mark Wahlberg. He is currently 56 and says he would like more serious rolls before he hangs it up.

@camaleon9

I always found this scene beautiful, haunting and scary at equal hands.

@ricvaladez2563

God it amazes e how real this looks. This film was way ahead of its time.

@atique2545

This scene had a major impact on detroit become human.

@danielfisher3528

This scene is incredible

@woyame1

When I see scenes like this from A.I., I hear Rutger Hauer's voice saying, "That's what it is to be a slave."

@Gmoviesmoothie

It’s such a, dare say, human moment at 0:46 when they’re helping each other find parts. It’s like a morbid hospital. They’ve been outcast and treated horrible yet somehow you see familiarity in their social behaviour. Really creepy but comforting at the same time that they’re not human but exhibit our humanity despite us trying to punish them for replicating us so well

@JustSomeCanadianGuy

The one dystopian sci-fi movie where mankind destroyed the machines.

@LucyLovettLestrange

Mecca don’t plead for their lives but yet they’re smart enough to find “ body parts”. And to flee when humans are after them to destroy them.

@cdg2243

1:43 that's no moon. It's bad news for mechas.

@LucyLovettLestrange

You know what’s really cool? Spielberg hired on amputees to play the robots with missing “body parts” ( the robots with the severed arms etc)

@Angell_Lee

- What do we do? (1:57)
- We run now
This scene touched my soul, resonated on how certain groups were treated in our history. Their expression, when they are coming to hunt them 1:40 made me cry, so well written, bravo!

@paintkim9211

It looks like Poor People collecting leftovers and coins on the ground

@DiegoGlz8

If mechas don't plead for their lives, then why do they run for their lives?

@simpleclonetrooper2740

even i couldn't blast these clankers...

@43nostromo

God, what a powerful film. Spielberg is an amazing craftsman.

@chrisstrijbosch9318

that mecha talking he has bein on the flesh fair before show a machine knows and feels the pain, this emotion so sad

@lakshmik240

The very first movie which made me ..cry😢😢..so nice heart touching..😊

@MsScarletwings

It’s kind of cute to see how they help each other out
