This sounds like an awesome idea ngl, since this doesn't suggest a character cap, but just shows an easy way to switch characters for the team. Would love to see ingame!!
Gotta love how most people complaining about this idea didnt even watch the dang video and just assume that you can only have one of each survivor per match. Thats the forsaken community at its fittest

I disagree. I prefer playing the game however I want, and many others agree with me. The game is meant for enjoyment, not a team based competitive hero fighter where everybody picks the most optimal pick. My criticism of this comes around 0:45 and onward where you say that people do not choose the best choice for the team. Your criticism is valid when there's nobody that wants to play support, or everybody is a survivalist, making you feel helpless. However, this is roblox, not some big team fight game like Overwatch, League of Legends, Phighting, etc. If people are forced to play a support when they want to play sentinel and there's a cap, than that will lead to an exponential growth decay of the player base as more and more get frustrated over not getting to pick their main or fun character. If somebody doesn't want to help the team and wants to relax but still play and there's a max cap on survivalists, than they'll either hop servers or just find another game. Having limitations can help the killer and survivor, at the cost of somebody's happiness. Let's say you get to play guest and you have 3 other friends in a call with you. You all want to have fun and play guest. However, 1 of them will always be left out of the sentinel group with your exact limitations/rules in mind. Finally, you also have to consider game balance. If these changes of limitations to the amount of a class role in a game occur, than from that point forward, the game would have to be hyper/tightly optimized around the limitations. Instead of a character just being made and not substantially shifting the game balance (i.e. Noob, etc), any minor change would heavily effect how survivors/killers play the game. For example, if they decide to nerf Elliot by 30% with your changes in mind, than Elliot becomes redundant and would knock him out of the best supports to play. So if a random decides to play Elliot and fill out the cap of, let's say, 2 total supports per round, than the game's favor will be more shifted towards the killer, or at least make the survivors chance of surviving more difficult. And yes, I have fully watched the video. Let me know if you agree, disagree, or would rather change your mind? oh yeah forgot to mention, as you (Jik) are not arguing for a class limit in forsaken, this comment is meant to show my opinion on the other commenters who mention the class limit. Having a character select screen before match sounds cool, but still map voting is pretty buns in my opinion. Remove Planet Voss, make Yoricks Resting Place smaller, and everybody has a happy day.
heres a better idea: remove planet voss, or just remake the map bc with some killer and survivors, its trash, but with others, its really good
my opinion is that there shouldn’t be map voting BUT you should be able to see what map is next, map voting would suck because people would choose the same maps over and over. only benefit to map voting is that there’s no more planet voss
Okay actually good suggestion this time ngl, as long as you can pick your killer AFTER the map is selected, this is a great change.
tbh i like the way things are kept random about the next map.
It'll be cool if the character screen is the skin you equipped or you can chose which skin you want to equip.
I agree whi the first part of character voting. Very good to know how to help. But the map voting is whitout a doubt ASS. It Will Take away the fun of the game because now everybody will chose the same map (horror hotel. Pirate bay. And yorricks resting place) you could imagine what would happen to a map like planet voss

Really like the idea about character vote , just add a character type limit to that for avoid a full shed or chance (example : max 3 sentinel , 2 support , etc...) and we will prob have something extremely great to enjoy and something really balanced too. And prob add what type of killer we choose ( ranged for 1x1, trapper for john ,etc...)
Forsaken has 2 maps that are unbalanced. Brandom works has 2 gigantic looping spots that literaly can't be countered if you're playing as Jason, it is also a pain for 1x due to the multiple elevation spots that it has, but John Doe is pretty decent due to him being able to trap these gigantic looping spots. For planet voss, every killer is good except for John Doe where he is decent, because there's not a lot of places for him to use his traps. The map also does not have any good looping spots for survivors.
Map selection in my opinion is such a bad idea, since some maps are gonna never be picked ever again, instead it’ll be the same map, same map, and same map that people like, which basically have no variety at all, and become super boring after a while.
The only bad thing about this is map voting, everything else would objectively make the game better
I think this could be a great idea!! Having a selection screen for 25 seconds for survivors and killers is great. The killer would be able to see what survivors are there but survivors can’t see what killer it is. Also being able to see the map is a great idea for teamwork and knowing your strategy.

I don't personally agree with you, Forsaken is a casual game, and the randomness of it all is part of what makes it so fun to me, the problem with a map voting system and survivor select screen is eventually, it'll just be the same 3 maps being played, and the same general team composition. Which will get stale pretty fast. However, having to check every individual person's profile to see who they're playing can be a bit annoying (You really only have to do this when playing Elliot though, to prevent over stacking and becoming useless.) Maybe just have a mini-icon of everybody's selected survivor on the normal leaderboard next to their name instead.
