I've actually been following your guides when I started freelancing as an editor around 4 months back and today I have a sustainable income that allows me to live pretty comfortably and I still have a massive ammount of free time for myself. This field is such a godsent, and I'm really glad you keep making videos about it :)
I am 50 and still growing as a person and a professional. Been in Premiere Pro for two months and feeling pretty good. I feel like I can channel my life experience into video editing. Thank you for the help Vince! Hello from Los Angeles!
It doesn't matter which video I'm watching; I'll always skip and get bored easily. Your way of creating this video interested me invested in watching it without skipping and finished it. Thanks for a very informative video
So, even though you were into gaming etc, when you were younger, what editing software did you start with and what are you using today? And who taught you how to edit using that software? Did you take classes to learn it or, you just figured it out all on your own?
Whoever wants to learn video editing and get a full-time job in it, I will be posting vids on it very soon. I’ll give the secrets to getting employed in the field, without the extra BS tips. Stay tuned.
I’ve always been interested in this field and about a week ago decided I’m going to just go for it…i’m a little overwhelmed being that I haven’t use a computer other than for basic purposes but I decided to invest in myself and built a PC setup that would allow me to get into this world! All of it finally arrived yesterday and I’m starting this journey from ground zero..so wish me luck! All this to basically say..thank you for this content! I’ve been watching several of your videos and taking in all the info I can! I hope to apply it and start to build this skill set!
Freelancers Editor is hard Job.. I wake at 4Am in Morning..
Hey Vince! I like the assets you put on this video! This is on fire!
Motivational ngl thanks for sharing im about to step up my game 💯
Dude I'm seriously struggling to break through in the industry. I started learning After Effects in version 6.5!! That was even before CS3. I even went to a broadcasting school after high school and learned how to edit with Avid Media Composer. After Effects is definitely my strong point, but I can edit video/audio. Working in a factory is definitely not what I'm supposed to be doing in life.
This is such an inspiring story about how to turn your passion for video editing into a successful career. I love the practical tips and advice!
Thank you man! You’re one of the few people if not the only person who help us not to promote your course or whatever. You helped me a-lot fr idk how to thank you keep up the hard work and congrats for your success :) <3
I am doing this journey right now, Vince I AM going be in one of your student-success interviews within 2 years, without a doubt. Ill book a call as soon as i finish some things up with my own freelancing journey. Can't wait, now brb watching all of your content again
Very impressed with your videos. I decided I wanted to learn video editing, watched one of your videos, then another, then signed up for your skool membership. Crushed it. Can't believe it was so smooth and impressed me enough to hardly not even look at anything else and buy. Can't wait to see what's in it!
Your vids are always informative and helpful. Starting my own video editing and content creation business soon.
This is one of the best videos I have ever seen on YouTube, thank you🙏
I've always loved video editing... i used to have many videos with amazing editing that brought me to 1k subscribers until i deleted a majority of them. I left this commant here to return when I find my way towards freelancing...
Transitioning into a video editor, pray for me.
I will come back here when I get my first client .
