Can't even listen to this anymore without bursting into tears remembering watching every single new episode with my little brother every single week growing up. We just wished him a happy birthday, wherever he is now. Rest in Peace, Luke. 21 is no age to die.

Tom Kenny is an underrated voice actor. He needs more recognition for his talents.

@healthykrissy212

I absolutely burst into tears hearing this song 😭 I was about 8-10 years old when I last heard it I loved SpongeBob so much growing up and still do as a adult! Thank you to the creator of this show for such great memories ❤️

@alexarosier4620

I'm listening to this playlist and feeling so sad inside. Gone are the days where I would bike home from the bus stop, unlock my door, grab a snack and turn on Nickelodeon just in time for Sponge Bob. I used to laugh so hard I would choke on my food (LOL!!). I would feel so at home with Mr. Krabs and SpongeBob and all of them...Bikini Bottom felt like another neighborhood that I knew like the back of my hand. I remember when I first heard this song...and SpongeBob's vocals gave me chills on "ever....". Listening to this now makes me feel like I was part of something back then that was magical. Although SpongeBob has changed a lot over the years (and for the worst, I might add)...I will always cherish the memories that SpongeBob has given me in elementary school and through middle school. All of his songs were so HUGE...when they aired, people would already find others singing them at school and chuckle through the song as they sung in a chorus. SpongeBob is really a big part of my generation's culture...I hope the creators have understood that this show has made history. All of the OST songs...they're great. SpongeBob was really one of the cartoons that I loved, and hold close to my heart. Always.

Fun fact: this song, musically, is inspired by the Beach Boys, specifically the Pet Sounds album. It was written by Andy Paley, who worked with Brian Wilson (the Beach Boys' main songwriter) on a few albums in the 90s, and Brian also appears on one of the songs on the Best Day Ever album.
