@67duiker

I can recommend taking the courses from Leila. I have learned a lot and they are extremely useful in a work-environment. I also would like to stress that it's better to give accurate answers for your skills. You will need those for the job if you get it. And it's not good to be fired in your probation period for not knowing what you said you knew. Also if you don't get fired the stress level of doing a job above your expertise is quite high. honesty in an interview is very important from both sides.

@MrAloha

You ROCK! Leila is the best Excel Instructor in the world! I can say that - I teach Excel and I learn from her! Thanks, Leila! πŸ’ͺπŸ˜€

@jannisar-b1v

With lots of tutorials and mentors on YouTube Leila is just outstanding. Thank you so much for the free content❣

@SeanGHOB

If I were asked to use INDEX and MATCH in an Excel test, I would definitely run into difficulties. I've used them before, but I don't know if an interviewer would appreciate me opening YouTube to watch one Leila's videos as a refresher the way I normally would in a work environment.
On the other hand, maybe I would get extra points for knowing where to look!

@chh8860

This was a brilliant idea for a video ... and very well done (no surprise).

Leila comments at the 1:18 mark " ... If you prefer to learn in a more structured way with a lot more hands-on practice, taking a course might be good preparation for you ...".

No, not 'might' ... but 'will'.

The material is well organized and delivered in understandable nuggets.

@yugalgarg

Hi Lelia,

I generally watch your videos and they are so much informative and i learn a lot from them.
I really appreciate your efforts on making us learn a lot of things which makes our life simpler and better in the most effective way. I want to request you to please make a video on how can we call a table from insert function and match the formatting in a different tab, I am unable to do even after months of tries. Again thankyou so much for the resources you provide us.

@himanshuvajani4477

Genius video. Rarely I come across a video that is so on point as these videos are so practical and makes followers not just consume content but also makes them job ready.. thank you genuinely!!

@SeamusHarper1234

As an interviewer, I find it hard to get a nail on a persons excel skills. People often truely believe that they mastered Excel, but they often do not even realize how much there is to know. Also, knowing your way around Excel functions is one thing, but that can be trained really well on the job. What matters even more is a comprehensive understanding of "How" a task should be solved. Like, how do I setup a spreadsheet so that it is safe to use, error resistant, usable by other people, do I better use VBA oder Powerquery...

Asking questions and using tests is the key here!

@GpD79

What I learned from this video is that I really don't know much!

@englishmeg

Hi,
I have been to your UTube U. I now have a "degree" in excel. I work at a big pharma company. The MDs and PhDs think I am a smart person! Thanks!

@vamsiputthuru5836

Hi Lelia, your youtube channel has changed my total excel skill set mind, i am recommending to my friends and colleagues. You're an Excel master at all. Thank you a ToN.

@ScottLititz

As an interviewer, I always ask people about familiarity with Excel. Many have said they are good with it, but freeze when given a test that starts with a blank sheet. It's then you find out they know how to use an already constructed file, but have no idea how to start at square one. Knowing the functions/key phrases sometimes is not as good as being creative to reach an answer using a blank palette.

@angelrodriguez7237

Thank you SOOOO MUUUUUCH Ms. Gharani !!!!

We so appreciate your content and help. So much of practical on the job skills are not taught in school or by jobs. You’re expected to learn on your own on your own time. I’ve learned so much from you. Danke!

@StanEby1

On both style and substance you are superb. You have really organized for us a clear outline of Excel capabilities and uses, helped us mentally summarize our skill sets, and helped us identify the areas we need to improve. Just what the doctor ordered. Thank you.

@vijayarjunwadkar

Thank you Leila, for this crisp and clear video. I am sure many are going to really benefit knowing this. Great work! And links to various topics videos is an added bonus! πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘

At one time I am was an expert spreadsheet user (123). Now, I am a more of a DBMS person (advance) and now am just a casual spreadsheet user. When I do have to use advance tasks in spreadsheets, I think DBMS. I know often there is an equivalent way of doing it in spreadsheet. I can be done, it is just matter of looking it up. Advance spreadsheet sheet features seems to get users to use more DBMS functionality.

@marioayala2510

I'm from Honduras, i just found out your channel and i love it. You truly are a huge creative person and you have so much knowledge that's amazing.

Thank you for sharing!

@StephenBoothUK

A big factor in the sort of questions you get asked is likely to be the size of the organisation. For example, in a larger organisation they are more likely to have people who do the VBA development (probably along with other development work) but in an SME they probably won't.

I'm surprised not to see DAX in the list.
