The thing with Arcane is, it actually feels like every single Dollar went into the quality of this series and that is in my opinion a nice and welcome refreshment regarding the fact that movies like Red One for example also cost around 250 million Dollars and manage to be nothing more than mediocre at best. I can forgive Arcane beeing so expensive because it is just that good.

For context, the movie Red One which came out recently also had a $250million budget for 2hours of content. Compare that to the 15hours of content in arcane

That money didn't get shot into the sun. That money went to the artists. They probably deserved even more.

In all honest the shows quality reflects that budget, the music, the consistent animation, beautiful environments, great writing, personally I’m so satisfied with it I don’t care how much it cost I just want more

As an animator this absolutely doesn’t surprise me (in fact I was expecting it to be more expensive) and actually I hope that the huge budget means the animators were paid properly. There’s a reason Arcane is expensive, the animation takes MONTHS to do and very talented people.

To be fair, they had to hire new animators for fortiche because at the time it only had like 5-6 people? They also put a TON of marketing for both season 1 and 2.

I mean they are actually paying the animators and voice actors for the shear amount of work they have done which means they don't just take advantage of the passionate artist so good job
