I know Lockheed built these things, but the true testament is to the people in our AirForce over the last 60 years that have continued to service these airframes.
I remember when they would use wigram as a base to practice for warbirds over wanaka. I spent alot of time as a child watching them fly around practicing. There used to be a big field on sioux ave instead of all those houses, and you definitely wanted to stay away from the lodging house there, it was full of freshly released prisoners
Nice, I bet they treated the brakes and props to the limits for that short landing.
I was coming back from school this very plane flew over my house.
Noice .i remember the Caribu .smaller Aircraft ,then these Legends were introduced
Can you do it again tomorrow..sorry I was busy today and missed landing.๐ wigram was alot better when it was a airfield and not a crappy subdivision.
Lady Wigram Trophy Races!
Not a lot of the original aircraft remaining.
U dont understand how big those are untill u see it๐ฎ
Sad to think these birds will never have the air flowing over their wings.
