Cool beans. Drills do harvest wood just fine, yes, but you need a lot of drills. One row of wood heart, one empty row, one row of drills facing the empty space, one row of conveyors. You can mirror and repeat the rows (Conveyor, drill, space, heart, space, drill, conveyor, drill, etc) to create farms that just pump out wood.

Hey Wander! Just a tip, you can break wood, crates, crops, and floor tiles like slime spawning stuff with your torch, just as fast as with tools and it will save you a lot of durability! Especially with wood. Iām prettty sure this is true unless they disable tool durability reduction in 1.0

"King of slimes" means that no slimes, even boss slimes, will attack you.

for minthara, just fight her nonlethal (melee only!). my understanding with patch 7 they've added more story if you use this strat as well, but havent tested that part out myself yet. at least, if you fight her with nonlethat attacks, it mostly works (some of the dialogue feels out of place, but not too bad).. just go strait to the tower and follow the story progression. she will become recruitable.

I just found out the most OP pickaxe you can get is the handdrill. just keep it until you unlock the upgrade table. The upgraded drill has more mining strength than the pickaxe of that material

Unless the devs have changed it since I last played, you can eventually break the ore boulders with drills... It just takes a very long time. I didn't keep track, so I really don't know (and it's been >6months), but I'm guessing they give 500-1000 ores before they break
