I've tried to use act various different times with no success. Once the GitHub actions are one step beyond basic, I have struggled more with trying to get act to run them the same way GitHub actions would run them.  It feels like the old days of 'it works on my machine' all over again, once the act finally, finally runs... and then fails on GitHub actions anyway.

some of this things the framework should ship with basic configuration for Github Action, I think the recent Ruby on Rails they do it, of course you can quickly generate when with cursor ai
