I flashed an usb stick to my 16 years old pentium e5400 pc. It worked directly without problems. Thank you for your Tutorial. I installed tekken 3 for psx and its working fantatic without issues. I didnt think it would be worked nice on this pc. Next stop is ps2 ;) i want to know what this pc capable of.

Hi Jamie, love the vids. I have an Amiga issue with mouse and joystick selection.... Using new V41 Batocera release. I am trying to get my 4GB Amiga HDF working on my PC version of V41 on my laptop.. The image behaves perfectly on the Pi 5 version (without any intervention from me) I have tried to play with the Retroarch config settings but constantly messing it up with no luck. i cannot get the mouse and joystick to co exist and i was able to get the mouse woork 1 time but lost the joystick in the process. As i said the Pi5 V41 works perfect using same 4GB HDF image so i am at a complete loss as to what is going on. Thanks for looking, hopefully there is a video with this issue you have already done.

Is there no settings for analog deadzones? It is impossible to use with most of my controllers. How is there no deadzone setting? There is a setting in RetroArch itself but it doesn't seem to have any effect!?

Complicated for most, but when you get into Batocera, press f1 and then you can access drives and the HIDDEN HDD you need to use to store games and bios etc. On a PC/Laptop you cannot access this part.

Hi Jamie 👋 thank you for your videos on batocera they've helped me a few times 👍 I'm having a problem on V40 when I open the Main Menu - System Settings - Information. It freezes for a second or two then reloads all the systems again, Sometimes when I push Information I see the details pop up but freezes then reloads the systems again (Like when you push update gamelists) I tried updating Batocera to a Butterfly version which was available but that made no difference so I reinstalled Stable V40 it's on a Acer Nitro 5 laptop if that's any help...

I dont want to sound stupid, just a bit confused! I can use this as an alternate OS to windows? Obviously without all the windows futures, but i can use batocera 40 as an os just for gaming?

Really enjoyed this. I have a good PC, but I'm wondering about getting a mini just for emulation that I can easily move from room to room. I'm at a loss though of what specs I'd need and how to start. Have you done something like this? I think I'll be looking at Spectrum, C64, Amiga, old arcade, perhaps PS1. I never had many systems outside of that, so not sure of the value or pushing it too hard. Any advice? I've seen a few other vids, but I don't want to end up with a donkey of a machine that barely works! Thanks again
