I found an easier way to do this. 1. Install Watchland on your phone from the Playstore. 2. Go to the gear store and install 'Connected Watch' to your Gear S2/S3(for some reason, they had to change the name of the app in the gear store) 3. Login via FB, Gmail, etc. 4. Go to 'shared faces' 5. Select a face to download 6. Go to 'my faces' 7. Send the face to your Gear S2/S3 Note: I've only tried this method on my Gear S3, but I don't see why it wouldn't work on the Gear S2. The only issue I have may be a bug within Watchland. The watch faces aren't visible. Search results only show a white box with the file name of the watch face, download count, and size.

great video, got the app loaded up just fine. can this method be used to load other gear apps to the watch with out having to go thru the phones gear app? if so how do i find those watch apps? ive used the app name + APK in a google search to find app that are no longer in the store to get phone apps but do this also work for watch apps?

Thanks for the step by step instructions. Everything was fine till the last stage of importing the watchland gwt file. Got the error that the downloaded watchland companion is a tv version and not that of mobile and would not work. Have also downloaded the java offline for 64bit win 10, but still got the error message that java en need to be installed. Appreciate if you could help me overcome this problem. Tks.

Hi, Great video. I have tried your method but somehow the watchland companion app can't seems to be able to receive that watch face sent from the phone (i was able to sideload the app to the Gear s3, learned a lot of things from your video). Than i tried Daragon Tech method and problem solved. Not too sure what went wrong, but i really love your effort, pls share more video with us ya. thanks

To change watch faces within Watchland... you may need to exit the Watchland companion app, select a watch face outside of Watchland, the select Watchland as a watch face again, then from the Android Watchland app, select your desired alternative watch face!

Hi, I did it all like you said in the video, but I can't transfer any watchface to my watch. I always get the message on my phone, that I need to have the watchland app on my watch (two red x and one green checkmark). I deleted everything and install everything new, but still unable to send faces to my watch. I have watchland on my watch and on my phone. I restarted all many times... still unable to send a face to my watch.
