On the fence about omscs, but it would open up sooo many options for my career. I am currently a process engineer with a B.S in chemical engineering and, while successful, I find computer-based careers much more interesting. It was too late to pivot by the time I was wrapping up undergad as my scholarship was for engineering specifically. I firmly believe if I can get through chemical engineering, I can get through any schooling as that degree was insanely tough. Thanks for going over what I can expect. Going to take some courses before I apply.

Thank you for sharing your experience. May I ask in which year you completed your online MS in Computer Science degree from GTech? Currently, I am pursuing my online MS in Cybersecurity degree from GTech while simultaneously working full-time at a cybersecurity company. I have enrolled in a single class worth three credits, and I must admit, it has proven to be quite challenging. Your account of your own experience brings me comfort, as it reassures me that GTech is indeed a rigorous institution for many students, not just myself. 😅

I was very disappointed with the program and I'm planning to drop. This was my second master's degree and I feel so much disconnection with professor and TAs. Limited to emails and discussion communication, you never have contact or feedback from the professor. Peer reviews from people that are also learning in this master's level si not the best.

I had a 2.3 undergrad gpa due to undiagnosed ADHD and completed many computer science courses except some senior courses. I also completed and got A’s in 2 cs graduate online courses at Arizona State. Would this be enough for Georgia tech?

Are the exams really difficult the questions out the subject and you don't recommend to take 2 courses per semester?
