As you said in video it's because of oversaturation of dopamine. But there's also one thing called experience. When you are a kid everything feels so new, fresh and breathtaking. When you are older you begin to think something like:"Oh, I already have seen that in 'certain title', they did it much better in it." Some people will say: "Stop comparing games!", but it's impossible. After playing tons of RPG with great dialogs and lore you will notice, if certain game have bad and cheesy plot. In my childhood games felt like magic. Entire universe in your PC/phone/console. But then you growing up and realizing how things are functioning and you begin to notice some flaws and issues, which spoiling the experience.

@imthatjay

I feel like the best way to enjoy games again is to try other genres. Too many people play the same kinds of games for years and then wonder why they get bored

@robertbell1804

I'm so bored of video games I rather watch movies all day.I can't even play a game for 10 or 20 minutes without getting bored.Meanwhile my boring ps5 can collect dust

@Marinealver

I did not grow out of gaming,
gaming has changed for the worst

@GritFort

There is absolutely NO feeling like revisiting a game you loved from your childhood. It’s borderline orgasmic seeing the very things that helped build your childhood again.

@quinnjohnson9750

As I entered my 20s I started to lose my interest in video games and as I am now in my late 20s I have to FORCE MYSELF to play videos games and force myself to have fun with fiends cause even playing with friends ain't fun anymore. I fear I am losing my interest in video games.

@moonasha

I remember the first time I played Halo CE, I installed it on my computer before school and let it sit on the main menu all day, just knowing that it was there waiting for me when I got home. And boy oh boy was it amazing when i finally clicked that play button..

@Changingtesting

Games now just feel like money grabs, fear of missing out, half finished games on released, and grind fests, with 🤢 battlepass systems

@jimmygontek8973

I'm 42 yo gamer. This video is so funny for me. All those "good old times" you are talking about aro so modern for me that I didn't even heard of most od them.

@misternil

These days I sit quietly pretending to be a zen master staring at the wall.... it's new

@dimasskarabas

If video games don't bring you joy anymore, it's your heart's way of telling you to venture out in life, get money, get jacked and to find what makes you happy and brings you fulfilment

@fldumars3574

This video hit I remember being like 6 years old playing fire red and not knowing how to get to Lavender Town

@TylerMcNamer

What may be no longer fun can still bring joy to children of the future. I saw a group of kids getting excited over an Atari game at my local arcade.

@TheDragonBallDubRemasters

"Video games aren't fun anymore"... they say as they milk the shit out of the only game they've been playing for 15 years.

@randomguyontheinternet8345

I feel like newer games focus so much on graphics but less in the actual game play

@cheerful_crop_circle

I think video games are objectively at their peak right now but the problem is that since we mature and get more critical and experienced, we feel that video games just almost lack the magic and hype/excitement that you might experience if you were a kid or much younger. And video games only just being pixels on a flat two-dimensional screen/display doesn't help either.

@policepop_12

Red dead redemption 2 is a awsome game. Its not just a game, it is a experience so great that the only thing you can do is play it again. That game is and always be my favorite game ni matter what

@facility8050

Last game I was actually excited to play was with dying light 1, and very recently too, but in all honesty the best part about playing games is playing with friends.

@ulysses1672

The best thing to have that og gaming feeling again

Go out for an long walk and then come back

@greenoftreeblackofblue6625

One of the only things that hit is not playing tf2 for a long time then getting back into it.
