I think it’s a solid choice. It’s not like you reviewed him and thought “This guy sucks”. Guaranteed good champ in a faction you aren’t the strongest…seems smart, especially with the FW Hard coming. Plus you did pretty well with the souls you pulled.

I did it on both my accounts (both f2p). I saved 1 card on one, 2 cards on the other. The one I saved 1 card on, I had 97 frags with 5 cards left. Having a huge stash of unused souls was the key. Eg. I had a 6* Taurus I'd been sitting on for months and months. Sold it towards more stones. I had a 6* Kreela soul. Don't need a 6* Kreela even if I pulled her. An effectively free soul eternal stone. I sold most of the souls I pulled too, but I did end up with a 5* Helicath and a 6* Zargala - a wishlist pull.

as a midgame player doing my first fusion and deck of fate, i did the deck of fate and then every content creator said they were passing. i have been bummed so it makes me feel a little better that there is a chance he will be worthwhile.

Kawn is actually really good. Block revive A1 that has irresistable buff cleanse when equipping a shield is pretty damn sweet. Add counter attack on self + strengthen + shield on team is even sweeter. Aoe attack that hits hard is a massive meatball on top. Whoever doesn't get this champ will be hurting when new faction war crypt comes out that requires specific conditions to get a 3 star....tons of bawling and crying coming soon

i vacillated for a while, then pulled the trigger also. we could (and still can as of this video) buy up to 6 flips per day from the gem shop for 2.5k gems, so i blew 10k gems, a lot of (~3k) energy spider dungeon diving for deck points, then burned all (almost 100) of my ancients, and finally a handful of mortal soulstones to finish it off. was not quite as lucky as nubs but finished the frags with 2 cards still unflipped, which saved about 30 mortal soulstones i was ready to also pull. but in the end, got a meh but hopefully average void leggo in my weakest faction, without pulling a single void or sacred shard, nor any immortal or eternal soulstones... instead had to use tons of gems + energy + a chunk of ancients + a few mortal stones.

Not sure why the hate for this. I could be wrong but I don't remember you saying this guy was total trash and in no way should anyone do the DoF. You changed your mind, you had the resources, you did the DoF. For the most part this champ is another to help your account for a little while and then mostly useless in 6 months or less as are most champs. Oddly I'm not sure this DoF is overpriced. Real quick look and this DoF champ is slightly less that current fusion champs. I haven't really fined tuned the numbers and it's hard to give comparison when normal fusions have AE and Arena requirements. But this "feels" overpriced cause it's compressed into 3 days and just 3 methods for points with one abnormal event soulstones. I just felt this guy was average without special setup, sort of like Ruel, so I skipped it. They keep dropping shard/soulstone values to make things harder get is what makes me made. Meanwhile to the person or persons who have good luck with 6* Legendary souls from Immortal soulstones specifically, you're welcome. I, your polar opposite am sitting 264 Immortals pulled and not a single 6* soul to show for it.

Banner Lords, High Elves, Orcs, and Ogryn are going to be the hardest part of the new hard mode Faction Wars. Artak and Seer are my best Orcs, and I used all my soul stones to get a good guaranteed void legendary orc champion, and I didn't have to pull any shards to get him. So I am saving him for the right time to pull him.

I came back to raid recently on a fresh account. I have managed the fusion event but zero chance on the deck of fate, nowhere near enough resources. I just got my first 1 key brutal cb and only a few milly off a 2 key nightmare so im doing alright for early game so far. Thanks for the vid nubs.

I normally save my soulstones for the soulstone events, but I too figured getting a void champ for orcs would be useful to my account. Guaranteed good void champ vs a better chance at getting useful souls, I felt the champ was the way to go on this one. Sadly I did need to dip into my wallet a little, but I also did end up getting a handful of useful souls. Mostly low ones, but still for champs I use. Also pulled a 6-star Frolni soul, which would be great if I had him.

After seeing how much you enjoyed Kawn in the test video I was honestly surprised to hear you weren't going to grab him. If you have the resources why not? He's the same cost as Fatalis in sacreds and the soul values are slightly better than the Freyja deck.
