When you commit, the undo data is not actually purged - otherwise flashback queries wouldn't work. Also, only on delete is the actually deleted data stored in undo; with inserts and updates, a note of the changes are stored.  The principles were very well explained.

why my APPS_UNDOTS1 table is growing so fast ( it's been one year) ?
does this mean my APPS_UNDOTS1 doesn't return to its previous size after the transaction is complete?
