Words cannot describe how much I've missed Dieter talking about phones.
Wait Whaaaaat! Long seeing Dieter Bohn. Still crying, watch his last video of him leaving The Verge. I always think, "What must he be doing all these days at Google?"
Seeing the Nothing Phone at the show made me happy. They are getting the love they deserve
We need an actual animated show with the android robot.
Keep this up, Google. Instead of Android disappearing as people say it's going small, you made a Nickelodeon-feeling show that's actually interesting to watch. Android is always interesting and fun. I respect all the effort and even all the cool CG animations. It's all neat!
Surprise Dieter appearance was a delight
I didn't realize how much I missed Dieter talking about tech. More please! ❤
So nice to see Dieter again!
23 minutes of pure joy and excitement 😍
The only question is how are you going to force developers to adopt to material you have. Many popular apps don't even adapt to the material you icons.
Ah, so nice to see Dieter again! ☺
An actually helpful security feature would be the option to keep quick settings behind the screen lock. At the moment anybody can grab a Pixel phone and activate airplane mode
Circle to Search and Gemini Overlay should be one single unified experience accessible through the long press in the navigation bar. Also get rid of the corner swipe for Gemini and use that gesture to pull up the quick controls from the bottom and make it independent from the notifications, kind of what iOS did back in iOS 7 to 10. You wanted feedback in the comments, you get feedback
Ayyyyeeeeee Dieterrr........ Lets goo. This android upgrade btw is looking really impressive.
We need more Android marketing!
I REALLY hope they make a Pixel Ring or Their Own Tag soon.
All I ask is a proper color palette picker. Its usually hidden in other Android skins - One UI, Oxygen OS, etc.
I only clicked because of the cute lil green android mascot. Hes my boy
I give Google a lot of credit. They took a lot of time and care with this design update. I'm not entirely convinced that it's the sort of update that will woo iOS users on its face, but I appreciate that Google continues to try and evolve its design approach with Android.
