@Dave2D

This phone is very expensive and clearly not for the average tech enthusiast. But I am TRULY AMAZED at the engineering it required to do this.
it reminds me of those SUPER thin CD players and Walkman devices from Sony.

@mediaconsumption3972

Samsung saw the Google Trends for the word "edge" and thought the people really wanted this series back

@InternetUser302

Not saying a thinner phone is bad, but removing the camera bump would be a more desirable improvement that people actually care about.

@sydguitar99

I'm disappointed they didnt even try a silicon carbon battery, the edge series was supposed to be the "experimental" line
Edit: People in the replies, stopping defending them

@Peizxcv

No way this is more technologically advanced than a foldable phone. It's basically foldable phones' component in a slab phone

@SolidLiquidFox

S26 Ultra with new better battery tech. That's what people want.

@kambojsbTech

It's funny how it goes full circle everyone complained about apple making phones thinner and lighter in 2012-15, now we're back 10 years later making thinner and lighter. Everything old is new again I guess.

@LullhopMusic

Dave2D back to back?! I must be dreaming-

@hafizlemot

1200 for a less feature rich smaller battery, less camera , i was hoping this would be around 600 USD lmao

@Magnetorheological

Silicon carbon batteries are the real deal! I imported a Vivo X200 Pro mini a few months ago, and having such long battery life packed into a more compact package is just amazing! Samsung really lost the plot charging that much cash for this thing, my X200 pro mini was only $600 all in and comes with a complete flagship camera system

@ariesaries91

I'm an owner of a Pixel 3, and I do really like the idea of lightweight phones. With this, the screen estate is way larger, and of course thinner compared to the Pixel 3. Things that hold me back from this phone are, especially, the battery life and the price.

@zaidkidwai7831

Super cool device. Not for me most people, but is super cool when they maximize their resources onto 1 device.

@ronochow

We've chased this trend before. I had an Oppo R5 which was super thin too. It's cool what Samsung has been able to achieve, I guess it's for specific users.

@IstvanF

No one cares about a thin phone like this. We want 8000 mAh+ phones with regular thickness!

@Nick_in_the_6ix

I remember when I had bought an LG V30+ 6-7 years ago which was a flagship phone at that time, it was so light weight and thin to which people said that it felt cheap to hold whereas the heavy iPhone 7 felt more premium. Look now where we going.

@shadzscape

99% - Can we Please have longer battery??!
Samsung: NOPE! here's thinner phone, less battery & extra cost πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘ #Welcome

@MasterCamus

This is the best reviewer nowadays. Highlighting the positives, negatives and not assuming no one wants a thiner phone like so others. Also, no excuse now for downgrade cameras on foldables.

@MATC9349

It’s actually a quite interesting product. Having more option is always a good thing.

@Dreamers12

I know there are people out there wanted the phone like this, like celebs, crazy rich people and some techies who want to try and feel, but for most of us, we prefer something practical, good battery, good screen, good cameras and good OS too. It's not practical to me, I mean it's nice and all, but just imagine a scenario that you and your friends are on a trip, you need to charge your phone while your friends are taking pictures, recording videos; it's killing the buzz.
