regarding this section in basic WF:

        required: true

if i use    required: true or    required: false , i don't see any diff in the dropdown in github WF AND I can still run the WF with empty or with a string no matter if required is false or true
so i don't know what 'required: true'  / 'required: false' is used for? why should we have it at all?
