This is so twisted, i do not understand. Why did she have to marry this abusive first husband at all? Why persist with a fake marriage document in a dangerous situation? Is it common that women are completely dependant on their husbands and can't get out of such very bad relationships in korea? This makes me so sad. Why not stay directly whith the more attractive male lead character, or try to support herself for a change. Maybe there are some cultural references i just cannot understand. The actors are really attractive, but violence against women and the only solution is another "saviour" makes me deeply uncomfortable.
