I sent this song to my soon to be ex-husband. Can't wait to be free of the foolishness of a loveless marriage that was not ordained by God................Blame everything on me!.....as long as it's over
This song speaks volumes especially when dealing with a gaslighter/ narcissist partner that thinks they’re always “right” about everything. They will blame you for everything instead of taking accountability. You eventually get to the point where no matter what you say or do you’re always at fault. When you get tired of the drama you can’t help but say “say whatever you want as long as it’s over.” I been there! At the end of the day, peace means everything. Just let me move on peacefully and gracefully
Its sad when you know he's a good man....just not the man for you!
sometimes you just gotta let go and let life happen. I'd rather be happy alone then let someone control my happiness no matter how much I love them.
My husband of 17 years is running all kinds of lies about why I left him. This song is exactly how I feel. I DO NOT CARE as long as I'm the hell away from you. It's funny how people don't want you when they have you but when you get the strength enough to leave want to tear your name down with lies. She said it best, "I really don't care..."
I dedicate this to my mother because she has really tried with my father for over a little of 16 yrs and have done ever thing she could to try to save her marriage, but it comes to appoint when you'v done your best and the other person walks out not once but twice and you have tried to make it work it happens again, you can't do know more. I have watch her try over and over with my father but his drugs comes first. So now she's done and it's a good thing, love you mom.
I love her music. She doesn't get enough credit.
This song speaks to me. Say whatever you like as long as it's OVER. Let the peace begin.🙏🏽
My ex broke up with me, but this was my song, because by that time, I was tired of fighting; he kept cheating and so when he left, although I was sad, I didn't care anymore.
Lawd she go so hard, make you wanna shed a tear until she say "I ain't crying no more" Lol
This song has really helped me to realize that my happiness and peace is what's most important. At this point I don't care what happens or what I'll have to endure as long as it's over! Blame it on me!
I struggle with accepting the fact that I have been used and mistreated over and over and over ... And over ! Today as I'm listening to this song I just divorced all that hurt in my heart and forgave the men who hurt me . I'm in a good place. Lord thank you for that , and music . Chrisette Michele is 💣 . I love her music 💕
When you are THIS FED UP, that's the point of No RETURN!
yes as a woman we love so deep we will never understand what a man really feels inside
My little brother used to find me sitting somewhere, doing something and he'd casually walk in and leave a device and play songs I have never heard before. He was introducing me to something HE thought I'd love... He was never good with words but he was good with music. He'd play me music at Mama's house and walk away and just watch me dance or cry or whatever I felt. I was always thanking my little brother for keeping me in touch. He is so sweet..I miss him. ❤
I'm currently playing this song because this is how I'm feeling in my relationship. it's sad to said but it's over.
sometimes no matter what you can't change a person or make them love you so for your own sake you have to let go
Sometimes you have to step back and reevaluate the situation.....PEACE is everything! I'd rather be alone then to continue going through the same storm. This song is on point!
as a man I truly love this song went through hell with my ex but gained a beautiful heart driven woman who loves me for me I love you Mrs jaylee
